Development and Donor Engagement
Brian's career has focused on growing, scaling and innovating in not-for-profit organizations, primarily those oriented around Israel and the Jewish community, including JFNA and AIPAC. As the CEO of American Friends of Sheba Medical Center, he grew both the dollars raised and numbers of donors five-hundred percent in four years. Brian has served on numerous boards as a lay leader, including leadership of a successful eight-million dollar capital campaign for a Jewish day school and being the founding Board member of a new alternative Jewish worship community in Chicago that grew to eighteen hundred participants. Brian began meditating as a teenager through Transcendental Meditation and has also been a follower of the writings and practices of Thich Nhat Hanh.
